Just completed the under passenger seat ARB Dual Compressor Installation . Looking for some direction on connecting the yellow and red ignition wire and the blue white illumination wire. Both wires are now routed up behind the glove box. Looking to identify the best splice spot to connect. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you connecting to one of the Mopar switches?

Im not using one of the auxiliary switches, just looking to splice into existing circuits. Trying to identify one behind the glove box.

My recollection is that a video I saw used the cigarette lighter power, since it's switched with ignition. I assume you're wiring power to energize a solenoid that switches the heavy power from the battery?

Yes I saw that video too. Thought it wasn't for the JL model due to the location of the CIG outlet

If you have the Auxillary switches you have a witing bundle under the passenger side dash that (besides aux 1-4) includes a ignition powered and a constant 12 volt

My 2018 JL dash socket is ignition/acc switched. That is, it has no power when the ignition is off.

I don't know about anybody else but I have a strict "no splicing factory wiring" policy. You can't undue that unless you replace whatever harness and it's just a bad idea in general.
i have the same policy, easier to defend when a dealer said you messed something up

I don't have a dealer, but I try not to splice into factory wiring. Rather, I go to a termination and add it there.

i'm saying more or less for warranty vehicles, however I never splice into anything anymore as its way easier to just run their own wires for down the road problems or lack there of. After years of working on blackhawk avionics things i tend to never split but replace entire wires, because that feels correct to me.

I suggest you hard wire direct to battery. This is what I did. Max draw is almost 70amps per the ARB specs. Aux 1 and 2 are 40amp rated.

And further... run the engine while using.
