ARB Twin Compressor Mount Revisited

Hey all,

Did any other products get developed yet for mounting the ARB dual twin compressor mount. I want to try to keep it as close to the engine bay as possible. The only one that I could ever find was the MORE mount which I don’t like.

Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

I went with the more mount, but someone on this forum developed an under hood mount. Do a search.

At overland expo I saw some mounted under the hood but didn't get the name. I did buy the ARB portable with the dual compressor and air tank built into a great case. Now I can switch it between vehicles as needed.

The only other mount I've seen mounts it behind the last row seating near the wheel well, nothing near the engine. Good luck!

@Kansascoast is who you need to talk to about the under hood mount I mentioned. There’s a thread somewhere.... also see @Goin2drt build in that section. He used that mount.

Does the under seat mount work on a 2 door? I had the single compressor before under the hood of my jk. Wasn’t a big fan of it there and routed the intake to the interior of the Jeep. Hoping someone comes up with a nice mount for a 2 door interior.

I have come up with an under hood mount that I can produce and am currently working on a press jig to produce more effeciently. Let me know if interested in such a product.

Still not a huge fan of the under the hood mount unless you were to move the intake someplace safer. Went with the innovative jk products mount for under the seat. Had to do a little modification to make it work.
