Just a question about mounting the ARB dual compressor under the seat.

Can you lower the standard manual seat down all the way with the compressor mounted under the seat?

You mounting driver side? I don't think passenger has height adjustment, but mine is tight how it is.

I think the preference is for a passenger side mount for this reason. Could be wrong tho. I don’t have one but I am considering it.

Passenger side doesn’t lower and would be tight if it did. I ran mine and aired up all 4 tires and use it to run a locker and never gets too hot.
I need to post in that thread about learning something new about my jeep.

I saw where Grimm Offroad is using the 4xe charge port cowl piece as a air chuck panel. Very cool idea. I'd like to do that, but their mounting of the compressor in the engine compartment just looks like the heat would eventually kill the compressor, and routing an air line from under the seat to that side looks tough.

I put an ARB twin under the drivers seat of my 24 2 door with the American Adventure Labs mount and the manual Rubicon seat does raise and lower up and down all the way. I put it under the drivers seat because it’s more common for rear seat passengers to get in the back through the passengers door and keeps them from kicking or stepping on the compressor. I did have to pull off a few wire holders and zip tie the wires in a different way to avoid the compressor but nothing major.

On the other hand, a little heat and vibration could be a good thing.

I did the same, but i bought my 24 as kind of a community jeep for friends and family to use so the rear seat may be needed sometimes. Kids climbing in and out that compressor doesn’t stand a chance.
