Not anything new but I just finished installing an ARB single under the passenger seat of our 2020 JL Rubicon. Over all, it was not brain surgery but more of a PITA and lots of fore thought. I fabricated a bracket from 1/8"x 4" steel and contoured it to fit using the rear seat mount bolts, slotting the plate for a slide in fit. Mounted the relay on the plate but I'm going to relocate the 40a fuse up by the battery to protect the entire circuit and not just the compressor. I used the 15a auxiliary #4 under the dash for the control wire and ran the large power conductors down through a rubber drain plug under the passenger seat and then along the frame to the battery. The electrical end of the project requires you cut/chop/slice/dice the ARB wire loom so you need to be able to read schematics and know how you want it to operate.
It is not in the way of a rear passenger but it requires a slight trim of the stock floormat.
I was at first seriously considering the ARB single in the portable box but in the end purchased this rigid mount version...now it's installed, I'm super glad I did! The ease of use and immediately availability is super nice. As fast as this thing pumps up my stock BFGATKO2's there is (IMO) no need for the dual compressor...and the extra cost!! I can go from 25psi to 37psi in 60 seconds...not shabby. With the deflater, airing up and down is super easy now...
Anyway, just a little review...
