FYI if youre interested... the speeddawg knob raises the knob position so you wont ever accidentally pull the reverse ring. But the overall shifter height increases so theres some give and take.

Does this set up make it more difficult to put into reverse?

Havent really noticed any difficulty. For me reverse is usually done with slow and deliberate moves anyway so its not been a problem

Just tried this now. Didnt make any discernable difference for me. Maybe im doing it wrong. Will try it again tomorrow

Maybe they fixed whatever was causing awful throttle response in my 2018. I had to do it every few months or the Jeep was very easy to stall or modulate the throttle at low speeds.
