Needed a good laugh. For over 50 years that I am aware of, these are not and never have been thongs. More accurately, they are flip flops as people are stating.

Definitely thongs when I was a kid. Flip-flops came later. No idea when the underwear took the same name as footwear. Personally I'd have named 'em anal floss. All wenches driving Jeeps should have winches.

I was honestly wearing some Reefs when I found this.

I'm not sure if this is a sign telling me that I should follow through with moving back to Florida (been thinking about that lately), or I have someone's Jeep that was supposed to go to Florida... maybe Hawaii.

I like it, and it fits my personality. I'm not sorry that you didn't get your Jeep... whomever you are.

If I remember the story correctly it was to honor someone at Jeep that wore flip flops all the time.

The thought that brought me to this thread, & what I ended up seeing were two very different things lol.

On the all weather mats there is a crossed shovel and pick axe. Also a T-Rex skull. There are so many Easter eggs on these things that it’s too long to list.

Found the flip-flops but not the crossed shovel and pick, nor the T-Rex skull. Perhaps I should go back to the dealer and demand new floor mats ...
