27K miles is a record !driven 27k miles so far with mine. problems.
just got done with a road trip to Alaska and took it on the Dempster Highway.
I posted a few over on my little build page.27K miles is a record !
Let's see some photos of Alaska , please !
It was amazing! The views were out of this world. Loads of mud, potholes, washboard, etc. The only bad thing was waking up with snow on the ground and lots of snow on the pass into NWT. Couldn't make it over it since there was 4" of fresh snow and couldn't see the road.the Dempster Hwy must have been a spectacular drive.
Outstanding photos , especially the Arctic Circle landmark , the dog , and fording the streams .I posted a few over on my little build page.

Yep , a partner with a JK , lol .Its a toss up in terms of reliability. Most are perfect, some have minor issues, even fewer have major issues.
Sadly its what you get w/ FCA i had a 2016 ram 2500 and it had nonstop DPF issues which is why we ended up getting rid of it. a Jeep is a Jeep and there is nothing else as capable in this price bracket new. Just gotta suck it up and deal and PRAY that you get a reliable one.
FYI my July build date JLUR is already having CEL issues and Electrical issues with Traction control / stability control / stop start. All at 800 miles. I was originally going to just go solo with the family to remote locations but now it appears that we will need to find a partner whenever we want to go away for a long weekend.
Before I decided to order a JL I took a serious look at getting a JK, specifically a Willys Wheeler. Read up a bit on the JK forums and found plenty of posts on common issues and problems.Yep , a partner with a JK , lol .
6K isn't "some milestone" but most of us haven't had our JL that long. None of us have had much to go on yet.Despite this they sold them with some very questionable welds that made it past those sharp eyes.
LOL since when is 6k some milestone in milage.
To the OP might want to read through here and decide if it worth it to you.

Jeeps are great, if I end up with a JL it'd be my 3rd. That said I'm a realist and not everyone is going to want to put up with the BS for benefits.
Two month's and 5,000 miles on my new JLUR has been flawless so far and I love it !considering getting a JL sport, not sure if maintenance and repair will stack the cost.
