I know the various engine options have been talked to death on here so I apologize for yet another thread about them. I am wondering if there is any reliable source online for specific engine specs for the v6 with eTorque. I understand it's the same engine Stellantis uses in the Ram 1500 but the specs for this motor in the Ram are usually different than what is stated for the Wrangler. Is it tuned differently for the Wrangler? The HP and torque numbers are listed as lower when this motor is shown for the Wrangler than for the Ram. I can't seem to find anywhere that specifically states the difference in output between the non-etorque v6 and the etorque v6.

Etorque gives up before peak so it doesn’t make a difference.

This isn't necessarily a difference specifically attributed to the etorque system though. When the specs are listed for the Ram 1500 with this v6 they are typically shown as 305hp and 260lb-ft torque. I'm just wondering if the engine is tuned differently for use in the Wrangler and that's why the specs are listed as matching the other v6 options at 285hp 260lb-ft torque.

Probably a different tune, may just be to allow the stick.
