Problem is I have such bad arthritis now I can't manage the manual widows etc and with a 4" lift its hard to get in and out (sucks to get old) and the smaller 2-door with power windows, etc makes more sense for me now so that was the main reason,, but the way its going I ight just end up keeping my current one and just power thru the pain... I'm pretty tough LOL

When I was initially shopping, the only thing I really wanted on the sport S was the power mirrors (two drivers). A buddy of mine who works at a dealership poked around with his parts manager and they thought It could be cost effective to add power mirrors to the base sport. Adding power windows is probably a similar level of complexity. A pain, but possible.

I forgot to answer your question. Sorry I don't have the side steps but if I keep it I need to put some in that will make it easier to get in besides my stepstool LOL which is embarrassing....
yeah that would be an issue with a big lift like you have lol. we're short people so we have side steps. i wanted a platform to stand on since we put the soft top up and down a lot. i went with these. bolt right on and i have beat on them with no issues. granted, they were about $400 when i bought them a few years ago

i installed these on a buddys jeep and they bolted right on with no issues

Good rates are still out there. They may be as common, but good rates are still out there. This is Eglin Federal Credit Union in Fort Walton Beach Florida. These rates are as of today Monday September 26th...

Possibly the CU staff are suggesting that they'll use your credit score evident at the time of the loan application to offer the best available interest rate.

Said scores are updated monthly, up or down, so "when the time comes" might be the best way to frame their position on the matter. :)

I have said before, and say again ; get the longest length loan, so that those low monthly payments are affordable in a worst case scenario.
You can pay towards the PRINCIPAL with any surplus money, and pay it off sooner. This protects you against unforeseen circumstances, your choice to get that principal down.
I wholly believe in this approach. I finance as long as possible, but have always paid loans off early.

And I always finance. Find a way to make your cash (if you are in the position to do so) work for you. It's literally free money to have a loan anywhere under 9% right now.

I work in the Credit Union industry. Most of the “low” rates advertised are teaser rates for very high credit tier, 36 - 60 month borrowers. If that fits your needs….great. Average overall rates I,m seeing for typical credit worthy borrowers opting for 72 or 84 month financing ranges between 6 and 7% at most banks and CUs. It’s going higher in the next few months based on what treasury yields are doing. By this time next year hopefully thing will be headed back down.

I've secured 3.89% for 96 months on my canadian jeep 45 days ago. 314$ every 2 weeks, makes it a very affordable payment on a loan that i'll probably pay off in 4-5 years, so when powertrain warranty ends, jeep is paid off.

I would recommend having the finance person at the dealership call Chrysler Credit to see if they have any deals going on when you go to pick up your Jeep.

I had intended to pay for my Jeep outright but on the day I went to pick it up I noticed on Jeep's website that CC was offering 0% financing. If I can use someone else's money for a few years and for free, why not!

I asked the finance guy about it and he didn't know about that offering so he had to call and found out that there were several options available that were not showing up on his screen.
0% was the one I went with but if he hadn't had called I would not have got it.

I'm guessing 0% is not available now however CC is probably the only lender that really wants you to buy that Jeep and they may have a deal for you.

I'm curious to see as rates go up if more dealers start to be more open or competitive about going under invoice. Hopefully I'll get to test this theory in the next couple of weeks.

Edit: Here is a link to Chrysler Credit to see what offers they have right now. I didn't see anything for 2023 Jeeps. https://chryslercapital.com/offers
