I think you're missing an opportunity here. You could partner with an after market fabricator to design a removable floor panel made of stainless steel mesh. It would not only provide drainage for the factory flawed soft top, but could be removed and used to grill steaks over the fire pit while over landing. They could be sold at the next overland expo to cover your exorbitant shipping bill from the replacement top.

I have your solution. Instead of removing your rear window and side windows entirely, just stitch them to a piano hinge sewn into the roof of the Safari top. Then, when you want air (but no rain) turn the windows into awnings. Plenty of air and the extra surface area will keep the rain off you.

I have your solution. Instead of removing your rear window and side windows entirely, just stitch them to a piano hinge sewn into the roof of the Safari top. Then, when you want air (but no rain) turn the windows into awnings. Plenty of air and the extra surface area will keep the rain off you.
