Has anyone actually had theirs replaced ? or did they tell you inspection first and if its needed , then they will install a new pump

Unless yours came off the assembly line with the newly released pump, the dealer is going to have to install it. The current pump is faulty.

Like @TX_Ovrlnd implied: your pump is faulty. There's no inspection step since what was installed in our Wranglers was faulty.

Yeah sounds like it was fast! Bolt in.

But will still run my additives just because!
Oh absolutely do. The tech said still stick to running quality diesel and use a lubricity additive.

It is so cheap to add additive with the cost of fuel these days hardly notice.

Dealer service said there was no fix yet.

It is not even worth arguing with I just said well the online owners information says incomplete parts available. He was stumped.

The dealers and Jeep must have the worse computer systems ever made, their communication is almost non-existent for some dealers. At least he was cool about it and said his system just didn't show any fix yet TBD.
