It's means if we measured both reflections with a spectrophotometer, black would show more colorI’m in my 40s, not quite sure what that means.

ahh that makes more sense. I always wondered why these kids would say cringe on YouTube, now I know they were just comparing black and white. Thanks for the clarification. It's means if we measured both reflections with a spectrophotometer, black would show more color
My first new car, a 2020 Rubicon was a great deal in the spec and color I wanted sitting on a lot. But prices have almost doubled since then. My current one is a 22 I bought used this year, a different spec, but exactly what I wanted this time around. The JLU XR didn't exist in 2020. I also learned a few things along the way that made the second Jeep more ideal. Long story short, limited slip meets my needs and I would buy used again for the massive savings. Overall condition matters more to me, but a good color is definitely a bonus.I am not accustomed to this level of feedback by an online community. Literally every post has been helpful. Thank you all!
I’m usually the biggest Jeep in the parking lot so it’s not hard to find. Plus mama has disabled plates so we are usually right up front lolNow some like rarity of color... as to be singled out or just being able to find your car in a crowded parking lot. That can be very important to some.

Thanks for the heads up. I found a local dealer on the list and talked to their "Jeep Guy". It sounds like a custom order 392 below invoice is still nowhere close to my price range ($68K-$72K), and Jeep Guy didn't seem very interested in helping me.If it were me, I would seriously look at @Ratbert s sheet and see if custom ordering new would be comparable to what you can find used. I bought a 2024 JLUR XR from one of those dealers for what I would have paid for a Sport locally. My wife insisted on Anvil over the Hydro Blue that I wanted, but it was more important for me to NOT have the E-Torque or the turbo(simplicity, relatively speaking). This Jeep gets dirty often, and if it gets a scratch or two, so be it. With the Anvil, don’t care. If I get sick of the red accents, I can change them to pretty much any other color without clashing.
We have several Black vehicles in the family. They don't need to be washed and waxed ongoing to look good. Black is still one of the number one sellers in colors. But it is a choice.......all i see is white bro
This is black that hasn't been washed in several weeks and by wash I mean a shitty touchless car wash. The last handwash it's had I can't even remember. It keeps it's mirror like quality even when it's covered by dust and water spots.

You gotta stop hating on blacks because they look so much better
That is for sure. Almost every automobile on the streets these days seems to be black, white, or gray. And those that aren't are very dark shades of blue or red. Vibrant colors are uncommon by comparison. There are plenty of folks out there who love black/white/grey/silver. I totally respect personal choice. For me, I want something different, so it is a major factor for me in my choice.
