So far the record for 392’s seen at the same time and it was Mall Crawling

I didn't know there were any Gecko 392's. That would've been my choice.

I’m pretty certain they weren’t available in Gecko to the general public. I know that at least one of them was a “custom order” for a Jeep exec that is active on the FB 392 groups, but I don’t know the story behind the second one.

So folks, How rare is rare? It's looking like 2021 is a close so,

How many 2021 392s have been built? How many 2021 392s Xtreme Recon packages slid through?

How many 2022 392s & 392 XRs do think will hit the street? Any rumors on mid-year (2022) factory equipment updates? Like the addition of the XR package.

Future Collectors vehicle? Future value? While chip and parts shortages made and make us nuts, it is also making the 392 more rare.

* I looked around and did not see any threads talking about this subject, if I missed one let know.

I‘d say very rare away from affluent areas. These are priced like luxury SUV’s. I live in south Florida and have been looking for a 392 in the wild for a few months now, since I‘m getting one. Haven’t seen one yet. I know local dealers have been selling them, lots of rich retirees down here, but haven’t seen one in the wild. Not one.

Had mine shipped to a car storage warehouse in Jupiter (where Mclarens are like Chevys) and one of the guys there who see’s hundreds of car said that mine was the first he’s seen in the area. I too have been looking at every passing Jeep on the road and have yet to see a 392 going the other way.

Apparently anything can be collectable these days if it hasn't been driven for 25 years. Look at that Civic Si that sold for like $40k, or the Geo Metro that sold for, what, $14k? Bonkers.

I hadn’t seen another 392 in the Boston area until about a month ago, then I saw 4 in one weekend (all different so no double counting). I’ve seen at least one 392 every week since then, including 3 in my town of 25k people.

They were not available. The second went to a dealer on the east coast, PA maybe, not sure why tho.

Havent seen a single one in here in chicago. I know there are a few but never seen ibe in wild.

I think 392s are fairly rare and qull probably remain so.

I decided to buy since it is kind of a unicorn car. Always liked jeeps but wanted more power and for it to come lifted on 35s from factory. Finally got my dream car in a ready to run package so had to do it.

Awhile back I did some calculations and came up with the percentage of all builds are 392's to be approximately 4%. This is unofficial. Anyone else have an estimate?

If Dennis Collins is still alive and well in 15 years, these will be "holy grail" Jeeps to him.

Low mileage LJ Rubicons are selling for nearly what people paid for them new. Those weren't super rare, but rare enough and different enough that it matters and prices on them are nuts.
