Just particularly curious. Anyone have high miles on a JL with zero dealer warranty trips? There’s gotta be some.

I’ve got 1100 miles and only trip to the dealer was for an inspection so I could register it

If you had to run that distance youd consider it a long ways and high mileage

What do you mean by problem free? Does minor nuisance count, such as occasionally backup cam black screen, water drops during high pressure wash, bump steer but not full blown death wobble, internal rattle?

Just over 28,000 problem-free miles on my 2018 JLU Sport 6-speed. The only dealer visits have been for scheduled maintenance/oil changes.

17000, 18 JLUR, 6 speed.

Hasn't been to the dealer for an issue except a slight driveline vibration, that they said is normal. I just took it out of precaution.

I do have an issue where Apple CarPlay thinks I'm 500 miles away from where I am, but haven't been to the dealer for that, supposed to just be a radio update

I’ve got 28,200 miles on mine I got it March of 2018. It’s the only vehicle I have I’ve drove the wheels off of it. I’ve had it at the dealer a couple times but the only major time was to fix a steering issue I had. The steering wheel felt like it wanted to lock up when going around curves it was really weird and scary when it did it. It turned out according to the dealer it was due to when I had it in there before when they updated the software the calibration somehow got messed up. They recalibrated it and it hasn’t done it since. I had it in there for a safety recall I think with the cruise control. And had a couple nails in the tires which were replaced with the service plan I purchased from my dealer as well. It’s a 2018 Billet Silver Jeep JLU wrangler sport with soft top. Only thing I’ve done is upgrade the wheels and tires to the BF Goodrich’s 285/70R17 TA KO2s and the rugged ridge dragons black. Tinted the front windows. The soft top does leak very little here and there usually around the door post. It’s nothing that I’m too concerned about. If it does get worse then I will definitely have the issue addressed before the warranty runs out. I do plan on getting a maxcare warranty as well. I wish I’d got the lifetime warranty before they stopped selling them. But all in all I can’t complain about my Jeep. I kind of wish I’d waited a little longer before getting it just because after I got it I started looking online and think I even seen it on this forum on a post somewhere that it’s best to wait until after the first year or if they are transitioning between models in the same year it’s best to wait just in case any major issues are found and kinks have to be worked out and also I didn’t realize the gladiator was coming out in 2019 until after I got my JL it was kind of a spur of the moment decision. I traded in my 2008 JK wrangler x with a new engine from mopar that had a 100,000 mile warranty on it because when i bought the Jeep used from the dealer the engine was bad it was knocking real bad. The dealer acknowledged that and they did the right thing. They said they would put a used engine with around 15000 miles on it for free or I could pay 500 dollars and get a brand new one with 0 miles on it and also a 100,000 mile warranty. So I chose to get the new one. I just stopped at the dealer saw the new JL and decided to see if I’d even get approved to get one. I was approved and went for it. All in all I have to say I’m pretty satisfied so far with my JL. I don’t like the fact that the uconnect that came with my JL didn’t come with XM and I couldn’t even get it with that unit. It should have come with the bigger display and XM standard for all Jeeps in my opinion but oh well.
