4 pages in, and I'm only the 2nd person to question 37's on a 6-speed manual Jeep that's owned by someone specifically wanting to minimize supportive part swapping?

OP, this is my advice to you for your Jeep and intended use. If you like the factory suspension feel, reconsider a cost efficient spacer kit that won't change anything beyond the ride height. If you are focused on a true suspension lift, the Dynatrac Endurosport 2" lift is very nice. It provides an actual height increase that is very close to advertised, a set of quality Fox shocks that are specifically tuned to the Dynatrac springs, and will give an overall improved ride and handling feel.

I also strongly recommend an adjustable front track bar to center the front axle, a rear track bar axle side relocation bracket that will both center the rear axle while also raising the rear roll center (this will further improve ride and handling), and an adjustable pair of front lower control arms to fine tune the caster for proper steering feel.

An added plus that comes with those adjustable arms and bars, is their greatly increased strength over the oem components. Leverage forces increase in proportion to lift and tire size. The rate of suspension and steering component wear also increases with lift and tire size. This is something to keep in mind for down the road, when it comes time for building on the foundation that your setting now, and are needing to replace the weaker factory parts. I've had a great experience with Metalcloak. Their parts are top shelf, maintenance free, and are priced very competitively. Also, you won't spend more if buying individually over time vs all at once.

Last but not least, tire size. The 6-speed manual is not as forgiving of larger tires as the 8-speed auto. The auto can shrug off 37's, whereas the manual tends to require shorter gears to maintain drive ability.

You’ll enjoy the AEV lift. Rides great on and off-road.

I remember when I was getting my RK kit I saw your build thread on it. That’s an awesome Jeep.

When did you purchase your kit? I also got the 2.5” flex system with the TT shocks (which, so far, I’ve absolutely loved) but with mine I didn’t need to cut into the mount since they had switched to maintenance-free joints. And I also had rubbing on my LCAs, I just did a steering stop extension though.
I have the X-Factor LCA’s. I had to clearance the LCA mount on the axle because it would limit the available flex and it makes it easier to get to the zerk fitting:

I promise I’m not sexist at all, but out of all the women I have ever known in my life I guarantee only 2 know what a zerk fitting is. Only 1 of them might know what you are talking about. And the fact that you grease/wrench your own Jeep…much respect.
:fist bump:

-38 wheels and 37s? You are about to get on a very slippery slope. You will need 4.88s minimum, 5.16s preferred, new steel knuckles and solid ball joints. Probably some RCV axles. The leverage alone on that massive negative offset will break things.

So much for “without having to do major changes to other aspects of the Jeep (steering etc)”

I do have a Fox steering stabilizer, ordered front and rear track bars from Yeti. Also ordered stronger bracket for front track bar.
Don’t plan on doing any crazy wheeling at all.
The owner of Dedona Enterprises (shop in NY where he put together my order) said I should be totally fine.
it’s going to mostly be on pavement. Occasional weekend trails here and there with intent of bbq with friends/family in the woods type of deal.
AEV also comes with flash for computer AND I also have a Taser JL flash of my own at home.
I’m thinking I’ll be ok.

AEV 2.5 Dual Sport RT with 37s (very small 37-KM3s) does just fine.
Simple kit does fine for my needs on moderate trails and drives great on road.
I drive 600 miles on road to get to uncrowded areas and remote locations. So that played into my buying process as well. Wanted it drive great on road and to keep in simple, knowing full well it has much less flex than other offerings.
Front bumper and winch incoming.

Can you provide measurement of total height, ground to highest point? Thanks!

If you have a Tazer, you’re paying extra for the AEV speedometer programmer that you wont need. You can sell that easy enough though. A Fox steering stabilizer is really nothing special.

But let’s get back to your crazy brodozer offset. I can not stress enough how bad that is for your stock axles and gearing, especially with a 6 speed. You will burn up your clutch and even a curb strike with that crazy offset could break a U joint, ball joint or knuckle. If you want an aggressive stance, consider a zero, or no more than a +12 offset. I would seriously consider keeping the tires at 35” maximum.

It’s just my advice, a lot here gave similar. It’s your Jeep to do with as you please. But if you want 37s, prepare to spend more, a lot more. The shop that have you that advice knows that you will be back (to spend more money).

Should probably ask your buddy to order new gears now for it. -38 offset?
You were worried about highest lift without swapping much? The lift is the least of your concerns now. In saying that, I don't think you have to worry about breaking anything while offroad. It will break long before you take it on "light trails"

The shop owner where you just dropped thousands of dollars on stuff says youre good? I see. Well hopefully he warranties that sentiment.

Ah ok. I didn’t have zerk fittings on my arms and honestly I just didn’t feel comfortable cutting into the mount haha. Thanks for the reply!
