Thanks for the response and pics! Looks awesome!

How is the ride quality with the 35" KO2 in your sahara? And how about getting up to 65mph and going down the freeway? feel lots of difference?
The ride to me is better, the wider tires make it feel more planted, especially on curves. It still gets up to speed and I’ve had it over 90. Still hits 7th gear as much as it did prior and I wasn’t seeing 8th a lot with smaller tires so not a lot has changed. It does take a little bit longer to shift to the next higher gear when going uphill but it hasn’t made me want to dump more on regearing.

I know that doesn’t help with what tire to get. But maybe it’ll help with what stock tires look like with a decent lift. I’ve been contemplating MT BB AT in a 35. But I’m more of a pizza cutter tire size person myself. I have Dick cepek extreme country 35x12.5x15 on my 97 Silverado. And the 12.5 wide even in that truck are WIDE.
mickey thompson bb at in 255/85-17 is 35x10 and about as pizza cutter as it gets. great tire too.

Are you running your sahara on 35x12.5 or 35x11.50 ?

Hey! new member here!

I finally bought my first ever jeep in diciember 24' , a Sahara trim with the 2.0T (Not my daily driver) .... Im on the road 90% of the time and i told myself i wasn't going to lift or put big tires on it ... well that didn't last long haha , i just ordered the new mopar 2" bilstein lift at the dealer and about to buy some new tires. I want some opinions on what tires should i get , i really don't want to change the stock feeling that much, i know it will a little but want to keep it as stock as possible. Im basically doing it just for the looks, i don't go much on trails and never doing rock climbing with this jeep.

Ive read that a 35" tire is a must on this lift, but i think thats too much and will make my jeep "slower" or forced, + i think i will need to regear and idk if i want to get that much involved...

Will a set of 285/70/18 look good? I think that is a 33" tire...
Im keeping my stock 18" wheel as well.

Pics of your jeeps with lifts and tires are welcome!

Here is a pic of my jeep.

THANKS!!!

Your steel wheels are the same width and offset as the OEM aluminum wheels. You can fit quite a few different sizes on them. 33s and 35s make the steel wheel look really good.

Agree on 35” tires. I gained about 3” on my Sahara (this is with steel bumpers and winch that I installed prior to the lift) with the 2” billstein lift and less than 35” tires looked weird. This is with KO2’s. Regearing is not a necessity, its a preference and I have not seen the need to do so yet.

Nice looking jeep, love that color! Where did you get, and what is the make of the rear quarter window molle cover?
