Help me understand

My clutch sounds and feels like an old spring mattress.

Reading what’s out there, it seems to be a standard hydraulic clutch.

The issue has not effected the operation of the clutch at all. Just a sound and feel.

Any ideas?

Do you hear it running, or shut off?

Have you tried to isolate the sound source to the master cylinder, slave, or inside the bell housing?

There are springs in the clutch pressure plate.

I have had vehicles make creaking sounds from the brake or clutch pedal because lube was needed at the pivot pin where the pedal assembly hinges.
