You know we didn't change the line between the master and slave, and the ends are a quick connection, plug in style with o-ring seals. They could also leak air int the system. Just don't jump to thinking it's the clutch if it starts going south.

You’re a good dude @roaniecowpony. This isn’t the first time I’ve read about you helping folks out with problems. We need more people like you in this world.
Well, it wasn't all work. I got to tour and establish a land path through many miles of Altadena and Pasedena surface streets, while folllowing Google maps from the Buena Park CDJR up to La Cresenta. Then, on the way from La Cresenta to Torrance, I got the Google maps tour of San Fernando road and some backstreets with homeless encampments of motor homes, followed by a trip of the backstreets of China Town and downtown LA. When it was about to put me through surface streets of Southeast LA, I decided to jump on the freeway, regardless of the squawking. Just when I thought I had it made all the way down the freeway to my part of town, it dumped me into the backstreets again. I gotta turn that thing off and just use my maps and what little wits I have left. 2 hours, 40 miles.

oof never take San Fernando. Google maps always thinks it's smarter but seems to never understand how stoplights work. The other day it told me to take a left down a one way street going the opposite direction. 🤦‍♀️

And remember you also got a great tour of the Ace Hardware, then the Harbor Freight, then the Ace Hardware again!

True! I'd jump to thinking it's air getting in before anything else. The line was bubbling like it was celebrating it's 5th wedding anniversary so.........

Ok reporting back in..... I drove it out to Malibu and back (around 80 miles). First half of the drive was fine. Then every other time or so had issues going into 1st gear. By the time I made it home it's trash again. Locking up in 1st and reverse.

And again last night when I drove it I had no issues at all getting into 1st gear which is how my Jeep was driving before it at went to shit 2 weeks ago.

I got home and checked under the hood. Well, the spot where the master cylinder and hydraulic line connect looks wet again. I felt along the line and there were drips of brake fluid. So I don't think it was the master cylinder at all but maybe something is wrong with this connector on the hydraulic line?

If there's fluid coming out this has to be where the air is getting in. Then after driving around it gets all this air in there and it becomes difficult to shift again. That's my theory but if anyone has thoughts on this let me know.

Are you out of warranty? This could be argued that it’s covered under 5yr 60k drivetrain warranty. You shouldn’t be having to shell out money at an independent shop for this if the hydraulics are the real issue.

I'm out of warranty. I'm almost at 100k miles now.

Is that fitting "integrated" into the master or the line itself or a separate piece altogether?

It's in the line itself. @roaniecowpony just tracked one down in downtown LA. So tomorrow I'm off to downtown to pick it up and we'll start over again.
Well here's to hoping it solves your issue. I saw the video where you recorded the clutch creaking...it definitely didn't sound happy. Eventually I'll have to replace my clutch...so while I know it sucks this is happening to you on the other hand it's nice to know what I need to look out for down the road.

The creak/croak was gone last night. Today it's back. Not sure if related to my issue. I'm told the sound shouldn't worry me as it should not affect how the clutch performs.

Update:

Today we replaced the hydraulic line between the master and slave. After 3 bleeds I'm back to square one. Pedal is engaging super low to the floor, issues with 1st and reverse.

So overall I've replaced the master cylinder, slave cylinder, and line in between. Had the line bled twice by mechanics, 4 times by @roaniecowpony and myself.

I'm feeling pretty dejected and at a loss of what to do next.

I'm assuming no more fluid leaks at this point? What the hell is going on...
