For sure more info. Needed. OP states empty, but it's a dip stick. So you saw no fluid on the dip stick? This doesn't mean it's empty.

How much did it take to fill it up?

Then checked again, and it's empty again. So again same question, and how much did it take to fill the second time? Now where is it at? Low again, completely empty, like you look with a flashlight and it's bone dry at the bottom?

It is possible it was low, and when filled the first time it circulated through the system and then showed low or below the dip stick again.

I can't remember if that system has a reservoir for overflow?

I get it's a closed system and in theory it should not loose any.

My question is if you drive it everyday what is it doing, overheating? ICE engines will not run on water and you will know it quickly. Sputtering, white smoke out the tail pipe, within min.s it will get too hot and have catastrophic failure. If it's not doing any of this then you have a 2.0 like some of us that uses a little coolant.

For some that posted here trying to help this is a known issue with some 2.0 engines and to my knowledge I haven't seen or heard what the cause is. Also I believe some loose more coolant than others.

I check mine about every 5 to 6 months and it's about 4 to 6 fluid ounces low. Don't know where it goes. My engine runs perfect.

Hopefully the shop can figure it out because I haven't seen where anyone has yet, this includes any dealerships or other shops.

For me right now it's a minor issue. I keep an eye on things and add a little coolant if needed.

I just saw this thread and didn't read all the posts, so this may have already been mentioned.

The thermostat housing on a 3.6L has a bleed screw to vent air, don't know if it's the same for the 2.0L? I had a bleed screw leak when the coolant was hot and thermostat was open. The cooltant would find it's way to the block and burn off. So, no sign of a leak on the ground, but the recovery reservoir would go empty after a few days of driving to work (approx. 75 miles). I hope it's something simple!

Can anyone identify which coolant a 2020 2.0L turbo engine takes? I believe it is the HOAT, but not sure. Also color of coolant to use?

Its a different world we are living in today....

I was in the Grocery store a few days ago and the 'guy' checking me out, had on a name tag, that said "Brad" and Brad was taller than me (6' 2"). I did find the fingernails were quite long and polished in black. As I left I said: Thanks Brad.

I am back a few days later in his checkout line. He remembers me since I wear a Cowboy hat not something you see much of here in Florida. I make my buy and say: Thanks Brad...he says: My customers call me Brandy...I get a good look at him or is it a her???

I found Brandy!

Hopefully Linda is able to get the issue resolved through the dealer via the warranty.

I've only had it for 2 weeks. 43,000 miles. I love it but now I'm freaking our.
Don't freak out just yet. The good is, should be under warranty still. Just don't rush into any dealership. Read up on them, reviews and such. And take it to them to give it a look over under warranty. Hopefully this is a quick find and fix for you, so you can be out enjoying your jeep.

Did you have a combustion leak test performed?

Don's story was too perfect coming from your stolen skid plate thread :CWL:

Anyway, I'm gonna stop derailing Linda's thread so she can actually keep getting advice for her issue now.

It's pink
Mopar actually calls it purple or violet, it also can be MS-12106. That is probably printed on your coolant system fill caps, it usually is.

All vehicles require fluid levels to be regularly checked and maintained. This one has a leak, obviously.
