@roaniecowpony this just arrived. It is unused in original packaging. There is a roll pin holding the small cradle to the ram. The base is approximately 4-1/4 inch square.

Mine's out for delivery today. I can't wait to deflate a tire and crawl around under my jeep to get it on the axle and see if L5 stays in place and I don't get a pain like a hot knife in my back. 🤪

About how big is the diameter of that spud sticking thru the saddle? I was thinking weld the saddle on, but then you probably can't change a seal or disassemble it. Maybe I can pull the piston out and thread that spud in a lathe and make the mating part...

once you have it in your hands, I’ll be curious what you decide.

Yeah, the spud is almost 1 diameter tall. Should be good for quite an asymmetric load from adverse conditions on the trail. Especially if you retain the saddle as is. I'd really like to have the option to change pads to a flat pad about 1 1/2" - 2" diameter with some sharp hardened checkered teeth and have an axle saddle as well as a frame saddle. I'll think about it some more.

I did receive mine this afternoon. But I had a PT for my back and then our Monday dinner with friends. So, just opened it and messed with it for a few minutes. Nice part for the price IMO.
