The only downside I see with that is if the base or Jeep slips to either side. The Jeep will still drop but now your hi-lift jack is bent and unusable. Without this the Jeep and jack will just fall unbroken. But other than that risk, looks pretty good.

I’m not a fan of hi lifts, the only time I’ve ever used one, it slipped and caused body damage (luckily everyone was safe).

What are you trying to do? Change a tire? How high would you have to lift at your bumper for clearance? Remember your suspension will full droop before the flat ever comes off the ground, that’s probably over 4’ for me.
