Mine has the same thing. Confirmed 10/7 w/VIN, no movement since.

I had confirmed and VIN for 50 days before getting scheduled. I think it’s not uncommon.

Now my Dealer's Sales Manager is saying they were informed that they have halted ALL WRANGLER PRODUCTION until January of 2023.

Know how else I know your dealer sales manager has no clue what they’re talking about?

My order went into production today.

I just left my dealer. I sat at his desk as the sales manager tried to place an order for a 2023 JLURXR. While able to do the "build" the system would not allow the placing of any Wrangler orders other than some select 2-door models and 4-door Sports. The info he had didn't say anything about halting production, just not taking orders. We've seen this movie before but normally not covering so many models, mostly specific options.

Stellantis did announce the closing of its Cherokee plant in Belvidere, IL. Historically, Jeep and other auto manufacturers have had a couple week hiatus around the holidays. Not sure if that's case for Jeep this year.

Maybe they're going to make a big announcement next week about a 20th Anniversary Rubi or introduction of the Hurricane engine - who knows, it's Jeep!

Ordered my 2022 XR on April 18 and it showed up last week! Obviously it went up a year. The only option it did not get built with was the gorilla glass-I’m not too worried about it and just happy to have the Jeep!

Are there certain options that are causing orders to take longer? I'm seeing some posts/signatures that make me think 10 weeks, then others still waiting after six months.

Is it the radar in advanced safety? The sensors in regular safety? The front camera on Rubicon? Something in Xtreme Recon?

Is it the radar in advanced safety? The sensors in regular safety? The front camera on Rubicon? Something in Xtreme Recon?

I attempted to do that type of analysis last year and we never came up with a specific item that was causing delays.

It's a Just In Time (JIT) system, so your Jeep doesn't get built until you get to the front of the line and every single non-JB part happens to be available. What's holding up a specific combination of parts could vary hour by hour.

Note that we're not positive about the front of the line aspect of it. That's pretty much an assumption.
