I received a call today from the dealer, but it wasn't the news I expected. Not only did they now confirm what head office mentioned previously around mid Feb production (end of Apr delivery).. there is a price increase for the MY22 and the cost is passed on to the customer. And we're talking about a $7k increase. They gave me 2 options, accept the increase, hope for an Apr delivery or cancel and get my deposit back... after 9 months of patiently waiting they've now asked for an increase.. how ridiculous is it? Now with an increase to car prices to other manufacturers aswell, I'm basically left with no options. So disappointed with this whole purchase. The T&C's as expected only favours the trader and not the consumer.
