This thread has far more information than 99% of the sales people I have encountered. I’m going on Wrangler #5, it hasn’t changed much in 13 years.

Some possible hope for others waiting on 2021 builds, ours is finally complete. Just spoke with Jeep chart today and they confirmed it's waiting for shipping.

Order placed 12 weeks ago today and build is finally complete. Approved for and waiting on shipping as of today. Maybe we'll get it before Christmas?

Hey all... Lurker since placing my order on 9/23, finally made an account to join the conversation.

Checked in with JC last week Monday and they said dealer delivery between 11/22-12/1. Checked in again yesterday and now estimated between 12/2-12/9.

Got in touch with my dealer today for the first time since asking for the VIN and naturally he has the day off how screwed am I on getting this thing delivered before the end of the year? Suuuper excited to get my 2nd Jeep!

Edit: my guy just texted to say "tentative delivery day on the 9th", but wouldn't give a status code or the last known location, though I can imagine it's probably sitting on the holding lot on the opposite side of the state waiting for a trailer to the dealership. By anyone's best guess, would this be KZ R?

Sounds like that's typical:

These databases are for historical reference and not a truly time accurate measure of status but more of a proxy.

Just checked with Jeep Chat...still haven't started build! Ordered on August 9...think that makes 16 weeks and it still needs to be built and shipped!

I'm happy for all or the 7 week or less stories but this is ridiculous.

People with 2022s are expecting there's before mine can possibly arrive. If that happens I will not be happy.

I am on the same boat. ordered 7/28. after 4 changes, i have been told the build date in dec 4. Will see 'bout that

OMG, my Wrangler is just sitting in the rail yard waiting to be taken on the20 min ride to the dealer, has been for 6 days now.

Imapatient and annoyed doesn’t even describe how I feel about it anymore.

yesterday jeepchat said (after telling me my jeep was in shipping for the past 3 weeks) that the jeep has been completed but not yet approved for shipping, so they have no F’ing clue what’s going on either.

Still waiting…. Ordered May 31 2021. No answers from anyone. I’m really trying to be patient. Being in Canada, FCA Canada has no information for me either. I’m hoping they’re not going to even think about building 2022s until our 2021s are delivered.

I mean, the frustration is totally valid. But once the 21s are built there's no reason why they shouldn't start building 22s while sorting out the shipping logistics on the 21s. Those things can happen in tandem.

Well my build finally arrived yesterday. Got it last night and spent this morning doing my first adders. Rock rails with side steps, Mopar all weather floor mats and rear cargo tray, Mopar roof crossbars, and ram mount dash rail mounting system. The side steps were a necessity for my wife who is vertically challenged. My build is a loaded rubicon extreme recon.
