Guide: Wrangler Order, Build, Tracking and Delivery Process

It looks like there may be a delay in what is reported on this page. I chatted with Jeep today and was told my Jeep was built and currently in inspection. The webpage says it's in production and shows a date of 5/18.

It does show an estimated delivery of 6/9 so hopefully that part is correct.

FYI, order date was 3/15/22

I can confirm that there was a 2 day delay in my info posting to the new tracking site.

They stupidly use the word shipped to mean built and inspected.

They also use the word shipped to mean shipped.

Your status looks just like mine, except mine started in early December.

My XR Gobi Rubicon unlimited went into JB status Sunday Does anyone have any idea how backed up the body vendor is right now?

We don't have a way of breaking out JB specifically. All we know from a big picture perspective is how many have build sheets and how many of those have window stickers. That number ("in progress") includes all that are in JB. Domestic builds only.

Hello!

I have a question, and upfront apologies if it has already been discussed, I only went back about 7 pages or so. Replying to my inquiries on my status (Willys 4 door 3/30 order date) the dealership said it was still in D (also confirmed by cryptosticker status and new jeep tracking site) the salesperson also said:

" I am thinking I should have a ship date soon since we cannot order a 2022 wrangler anymore. They are starting to do the sold orders now "

First...if accurate, would they normally stop a years production in May?
Second...I always thought sold orders supposedly took precedence over dealer inventory orders, am I wrong on this?

Good Morning. So I used Jeep Chat today to find out my JLU has completed it's initial build but now is waiting installation of additional equipment. When ever I've asked for the status code I always get a we don't have that information but others have indicated they are getting the current status code of their build? As far as build sheet and window sticker those are still blank.

So how do I get the actual build status code?

Not sure what "other equipment" it would be waiting on other than I ordered the dual top group so maybe the soft top they have to put in the back of the jeep?

I ordered at Thunder in Bartow. I gave Lakeland almost 2 weeks to return my call when I sent the order over and he never did. I even called them 3-4 times to speak to Mike and he was never available. So I gave the info to Thunder and they called me within the hour. Drove down and made the order that night.

Pretty good. Brian, Saul, and Jamie were really responsive to my questions and called in to corporate to find out specific statuses and such. Got some $$$ off of list and took delivery the morning after it came in. All in all a good experience with these folks.
