Makes no sense at all.
It could be the dealership. I ordered from a bigger dealership April 30th and was called this week with a 2-3 week expected delivery.

I do know that the manager had placed orders when it first opened and my order was just a modification of their original order for the high tide. They were allocated my Jeep on May 11th but it was in status built on May 13th and now shipping as of May 16th.

The manager did say Jeep’s are allocated to dealers based on their sales and if they build is marked as already sold. He told me since they are 5th in the nation for sales and the one I ordered had now been marked sold it would typically get priority.

My dealership is in a town of 1,300. I don't know how they even exist, so I imagine if it's based on sales, I'll be waiting a while.

I was nervous ordering mine because they are only building 5000 and there are 2000 dealerships in the nation. That should allot 2 per dealership with 1000 dealerships getting 3. But that’s my overthinking kicking in and trying to figure out if my dealership was really going to get a high tide lol.

I did ask my dealership how many other people had placed an order with them for the high tide before I ordered so I kinda had a feeling where I would fall on the list since I didn’t order when it first opened up. But I also asked the manager about their sales and their ranking. The other big dealership in my area has a high tide that is marked for delivery and one in the building stage. Then another Jeep dealership that is smaller didn’t even know about the high tide edition and hadn’t tried ordering one.

I would call your dealership and just ask them where they rank in the nation and how Jeep normally prioritizes the Jeep’s they order.

I ordered my High Tide on March 1. There aren't many options available on these models, yet somehow I'm 11 weeks post-order and still in D1 while others are getting theirs built and delivered within 4 weeks. It's not a parts shortage - we all ordered the same stuff. Is it because I ordered from a small-town low-volume dealer?
I ordered my High Tide 2/12. It just went to KZT status yesterday. I got the news that it had been built while I was at Jeep Beach. I'm pretty excited that it is moving!!

My Jeep has been built and has been sitting for just shy of 2 months waiting to be shipped. This is even worse than waiting for a build to know it’s built and just rusting in a storage lot.

Then why are much newer orders given priority over mine?
Hopefully you realize that there's crapload of people that ordered last year and are still in D status with no end in sight. It's not as bad for you as you might think.

Reading this back and forth knowing I'm ten days shy of six months on a "10-12 week" estimate makes me laugh.

Yes, some people have stars aligning and getting their vehicle quicker than others, but those of us who have waited a truly long time know there is little rhyme or reason. Seeking that will only drive you crazy.

@Ratbert can tell you all about the trends and when they cycle from various trims or options with the data he's been collecting for months. It still won't tell anyone when their specific VIN gets pulled to enter production, actually ship, or make it to the dealer for delivery. Some Jeep Chat reps will lie and say they are escalating the order, but the reality is only Jeep knows how they prioritize production and their priorities may change week to week depending on supply of any on of a thousand parts, or shipping capacity, or how the schedulers coffee tasted that day.

All of us who have waited more than 8 weeks have gotten the itch. It's frustrating. People are seemingly cutting the line, but in reality, Jeep is filling gaps to push as much as they can each day. They aren't perfect (or even close). But people waiting 11 weeks are just entering the frustration phase. It's worse when you get your build sheet, then something else gums up the works. Stuck in vendor, inspection issues, shipping delays, or the worst, an accident that makes your whole process start over.

Just try to remember no one here is causing your delay. As frustrating as it is, almost everyone on these threads is waiting for their build as well.

I spoke with my dealer yesterday concerning the long hold up on shipping. He told me that he has gone to the zone rep who has gone higher up the food chain, etc, etc. No one can come up with a reason for the holdup on shipping or the disparity of shipping to the East Coast other than that’s where most of the Jeeps are sold. According to the dealers tracking, my Jeep has been moved several times and still sits in Toledo at the raceway. I have called Customer Cares( ha ha) and have a case but have not heard a word from them. I have come to the conclusion that I will probably not get my order until June if then. I’m just short of 2 months in shipping now.

Please understand that I'm not mad; I'm just trying to understand a process which seems to have no logic whatsoever.

Dang y'all, I can't imagine a 6 month wait. I was just told by my dealer that mine left the rail yard in Toledo on May 17, but the rest is TBD. Thing is that's not up to Jeep at all and they have no insight into it. Only the shipping vendor can help with that.

I hit 11 weeks, I’m still waiting for my Jeep Gladiator JT Altitude. Ordered 03/02/22. I’ve been told that I’m now in D1 status. Having said that. I haven’t received the estimated shipping time frame.
I have received the vin, but unfortunately because I’m from Canada I cannot get updated as easily since FCA doesn’t provide Canadians support for this.
The only option I have is reaching out to the dealership
