Okay please forgive me, but I'm new to all of this and jeep community. How do I find out if my 2020 jl Saraha had a front camera option. ? And will I be required to change my radio ? I have a rear camera. Just no front.

You do not have a front camera.

Honestly don't know if the 7" UCONNECT4 radio supports the trail cam, but regardless it requires more than the camera and might require the 8.4" radio. For the factory trail camera, it also requires an input processor/switcher (CVPM). For details, click here.

Edit: For a non-OEM front camera, you can use this one from ZAutomotive (the company that makes the tazer). It requires the 8.4" radio (or one of many aftermarket radios) if you don't have that and a tazer (if you're using the OEM 8.4" radio).

Consider yourself lucky. IMO, the front camera option is a waste of money.

Well I'm kinda used to it when parking lol getting too close. I pulled forward the other day and ran over my cable junction box. I cleared it. But yeah. Lol

The trail cam isn't really designed for parking. It's for rock crawling. And no, I've never tried to use it to assist in parking, but it renders everything extremely flat and I'm not sure it'd be useful.

With the time it takes to switch to the front camera screen, together with the distorted fish eyed image, your better option is to learn how to drive....haha

I have a front hitch and the front camera is very useful to accurately drive up on the hitch. The rear camera is great for that too

It's actually not hard at all....one push of the button. I added a front camera to my 2019 JLUR. I used Zautotive's camera. Once I installed it, along with my Tazer, I added the front camera button to my infotainment screen. Like I said, one push of the button and it's on.

I don't use my front camera because the quality is crap but I'm pretty sure that it is at least two clicks. Either way, if OP has issues hitting things when parking, moving their eyes to the screen for even one click is not a good idea.

Hmm, the image quality on mine is great. I have also added a "shortcut" to it on the "taskbar". So it is exactly one tap to launch.

My bumper has a light mounting bar on it, so I took this picture to check that the view is still useful. It is. I use it frequently to see over the crown of a trail, to see obstacles, and for close-quarters parking.

The WD-40 can is the nearest visible with my winch bumper, and the oil can is obscured by the bar. The factory bumper gives even better angles.

I like the spray water feature on the oem front cam. Makes me think of cartoons where they release oil to send other cars in the race spinning

It's one click if you have the camera as one of the lower icons.
They are interchangeable like Windows icons are.
Quality is great better than the rear.

Front camera is not a bad "double check" feature, (maybe especially is your Jeep is lifted?) before pulling forward from a parking spot or driveway if you are near kids or animals and have been in the Jeep for more than a few seconds before driving
