Hi,

I have a 2024 two door Jeep Wrangler Rubicon and have decided to get a Clayton Overland Plus lift kit. It is recommended to go with Fox shocks. I was wondering if anyone has experience with the Fox 2.0 performance series that is a 2.5 diameter shock offered from JKS for the Jeep JL? I am wondering since Clayton springs are firmer if the 2.5 diameter would be too firm or how it would be expected to ride compared to the 2.0? Thanks.

I can't answer your question, but to say larger diameter doesn't equate to soft or firm.

I went with the 2.0s because of compressed and extended length. The Fox 2.0 Performance Series for 2 to 3 inches of lift goes perfectly with the Clayton Offroad 1.5 inch Overland Plus kit for a two door.

Following. Please update what you go with and how it does.
also please document how much lift you actually get and pictures please.
Considering this lift, just wish they had 2 door specific springs.

Mini Grave Digger has arrived. 2024 Jeep Wrangler Rubicon two door with Clayton 1.5 inch Overland Plus system and Fox 2.0 Performance Series shocks. New gunmetal 17 x 8.5 inch rims and 35/11.50 Toyo Open Country AT3 tires. Quality of Clayton is phenomenal and ride quality is excellent. The 1.5 Clayton produces approximately 2.5 to 3 inches of lift on the two door. Better than stock ride and less vehicle sway through curves. Very excited, now time to find a sun shade for the roof for summer.

Does it sit level on level ground? It looks kinda squatty at the moment, but it's hard to tell if that's from the slanted driveway or not.

It was on a hill and had a tire in the back but it's very ideal. I would say it's one of the best if not the best on the market as far as quality and looks go. Also one of the top systems for running 35's.

I’ve gotten so used to the look of 315’s with no lift look.
I jacked up the frame to see what it might look like if I did the Clayton 1.5” kit gaining 2.25-3” overall lift.
Trying to see if it would look like I skipped leg day… what do you guys think?

I think it looks good and agree I have held off doing any type of lift for the same reason and honestly because I do not need it. I like the look of stock Rubi on 35's. Considered a 1.5 bump lift just for looks.

you have a gas 2-door JL. I would suggest doign the 2.0 IFP Fox shocks. It compliments the stiffer (higher spring rates) clayton coils.

I ran that combo on a 3.6 vs JLU sahara. Very plush ride with the 1.5" coils.

I did not measure that. I simply measured distance from top of tire to fender then jacked up frame 2” and then 3” for worse case and took a few pics. Also climbed in and out and had 5’ 2” wife climb in and she said it was doable.

I drove the jeep onto some 2x4s (raised it 1 1/2") and I could just get in without hopping in or using the step.

Cheers!
