Are you guys spraying suspension, inside bumper, control arms, drive shaft, etc? Pretty much everything (besides exhaust) on the belly?

What is the advantage of the FF black version?
Thanks

It doesn't hurt to spray pretty much everything.... I wouldn't go heavy on the driveshaft (will attract debris etc)
I've done mine for 4 northern Ohio winters, very happy with results. No visible rust anywhere. The standard goes on with a yellowish color (but changes to just a wet look).... The black will obviously color everything black (will look like black undercoating)... Also read somewhere that it might be a little thicker viscosity?

I spray everywhere and then drive around the block to burn off oil excess oil.
I use the regular version and been pretty happy with it.

It is really messy though when though when working under the jeep so be ready for that.

I just started using it for the first time, I read about it on this forum. Seems to add a nice layer of protection. Regarding the undercarriage, frame, etc. IMO the worst thing you can do is nothing.

The only place I don't intentionally spray are the rotors. I don't spray the exhaust but it gets a lot of overspray so I just let it be. I end up using an entire gallon with a little bit leftover.

If you get it on the exhaust, it will smell and smoke but that's about it. I don't drive much, but I think after about three weeks, it's about gone from the exhaust. To my surprise, I saw it dripping from the pipes still after about the 4th trip to the stores. I would had thought it would for surely had melted off by then but nope.

I also use the original formula. Black costs more, and while I don't know, I have a feeling that it's just going to get covered in grime in a month or two anyways.

I was wondering if anyone is spraying/flooding the inside of the frame with FF?

I have a few mods to do first and then the underside will probably get sprayed. That is if I ever get my Jeep before winter is over.

I purchased the Fluid Film kit.. Came with two 18" wands with different spray tips... Spray as much in the frame as it will reach.... Just don't overdue it... The excess will just run etc.. Nice even coat works best

I have Artec full belly protection that i will install AFTER I do the film.

It's probably worth removing each year when I really the Fluid Film.

I was using pb blaster surface shield. It's the same as FF but stays on much longer then both Ff or woolwax.

I noticed WD-40 has a gel formula now, very similar to FF.

Go nuts with it. It won’t hurt a thing, but no brakes unless you don’t like stopping. I use FF about every 6 months. I also use CRC 656 as well that’s huge in the boating/pwc world. I buy it by the gallon and put it in one of those industrial pump sprayers. Every month I stick the wand under there and give it a quick touch up. Makes the frame look brand new as a bonus like the day it came off the lot. I even spray all electrical connections with CRC.

I did this with my JK and it had 233k miles on it. Anytime it visited a shop they were always stunned how clean it was underneath. Even drove it hours through saltwater during hurricane Matthew with water coming through the floorboards. Locals told me it was going to be totaled. I laughed. I just rinsed it with fresh water and hit it with some CRC and it was good as new. I think I ended up having to replace my unjoints a few months later and that was it.

I use Krown and spray everything once a year. Everything means everything, inside of panels, electrical connectors, brakes. I went to the Krown dealer and bought a 5 gallon bucket. They do have US locations in Wisconsin and Michigan

https://www.krown.com/en/

I have been spraying since 2010 and my F150 is still rust free in even the the common areas like cab corners, rockers, wheel wells
