It’s depressing....:(.I drive it during the week like a grandma to get my mileage up to 18-19 mpg, then after wheeling one day , average falls to 12-13....
I try to do the same but even during the week with all the crappy drivers in Jax that like to drive 10mph below the speed limit in the passing/fast lane, I have to punch it to get around them. So 13-15 for me on a daily. I'm expecting around 6-8 when we go wheeling

It really sucks I'm going to miss this. I would have been able to get some really cool drone shots there in the "Fun Zone."

For those of you with a 2-door JL with manual transmission, I usually get 18 mpg while wheeling if I don't need 4wd. If I need to pop it in 4H, I still get about 16. I've never had to NEED to go into 4L.

@MORTON - I'll definitely shoot out that email concerning the trails with all the info pasted into it. :like:

We will do it again I am sure I dubbed it the “2019 Ocala Holiday Trail Run” for a reason haha Would like to try to make it an annual thing if possible.

I’m terms of other events a few of us will meet up at the Rolex 24 so you’re more than welcome. The Rolex 24 is so great for photography. I am into auto (racing F1 and such) and aviation photography for those who don’t know. A photo I took this past year was all over the news. Reuter’s wanted it but ended up not using it because I had post processed the photo BOOO! The Navy still uses the photo today all over the world!

Also, we all meet up at Jeep Beach every year, had a great time last time and I’m planning a trip for all of us to go run the Jeep Badge of Honor trails in Tennessee next year Spring/Summer. Would be cool for all of us to get our first badges together!

So, in summary, there will be plenty for you to be a part of going forward! No worries mate!

Yes, please do, and anyone you know, please have them send the email as well. We need to flood them with the same email requesting the trails to be added!!

My TJ was that way. I took my JLU in some sand last weekend that I used to do in my TJ in 2wd or 4H, I had to put my JLU in 4L to even move, I would just spin in 4H

This among other things is why I have my lockers wired to my aux switches 3 & 4. So I can lock up rear axle in 2 wd, and front and rear in 4 H or 4 L ......:)
