It shouldn't hinder the air bag deployment at all. No more than the handle bar itself. :like:

That's one of the things I tried out when I installed it and with this one it's a definite yes. It's a good 2" deep and has plenty of grab room. But like Randy said, you can just pop it out if she feels like there isn't.

My wipers were hard to remove the first few times I took them off to lower my windshield. Yours must have REALLY been on there!

That just flat out sucks. Not only that, I'm sure your buddy feels like crap about it too.

I didn't mind the stock antenna size, but I hated the color. So I I used the same Plastic Dip on my antenna and it looks and works great. It's been a little more than a year now and I've only had to touch it up a bit once.
