The video of Stormie's & my latest adventure (though it was in May) is finally posted! I'm a little slow when it comes to editing! Lol!

Meant to reply but got sidetracked.... then just totally forgot!
There are some great trails up in Ocala but that'll be quite a drive for you unless you also wanted to do some primitive camping (it's free); which is also great.
Judging by your user name, I'm going to guess you also like to photograph? If so, then there are some nice trails at Dinner Island Ranch just west northwest of you (free primitive camping there too) and TONS of wildlife to photograph. October thru early May I go out there nearly every month and spend 3 to 5 days out there. It's a lot of fun. You can stick on the main "roads" or venture off onto the 4WD trails. One (trail #6) gets quite muddy and is a blast; but I recommend not doing it by yourself! Lol!
Best way to find trails in your area, though, is to just talk to other Wrangler owners. Ive found some nice ones just by talking to folks gassing up! I first complement their Jeep then ask them if they take her off-road anywhere.

Hey all. Recently moved to Orlando (Lake Nona area) in July from Arizona.
I got my factory order 2019 JLUR in March, but haven't really done any mods yet! This is my second Wrangler, so I'm well-seasoned in Jeep-life, but knowing about the cross-country move coming up, I was told Jeep mods had to wait haha! A stock Rubi was enough to play in the Arizona desert for a few months though! Over the next few months I'll start getting some mods going as we get settled into the area and new jobs. Eventually will look at a lift, but I don't know if there's really any obstacles in Florida that are going to require it, so not a huge rush.

I do have a couple questions:
Which dealer(s) in the Orlando area do people recommend for going to for service?
Any fun areas to take a Jeep I should know about? I've heard Ocala National Forest is fun, and I already have an annual beach pass for Volusia County :like:

In the meantime, enjoy some of my pictures from off-roading in Arizona in the few months I had the Wrangler there before moving!

I take mine to Greenway Dodge. I'm very happy with the service center there. A guy named David Pittman takes good care of me. My parents take their Cherokee & Ram to him as well.

Yeah, not too many boulders to climb down here but sometimes you may encounter a downed tree. But so far my stock Sport has handled everything thrown in her way; including all the mud & sugar sand so I'm sure your Rubi will handle things just fine.

Sorry for being slow to this thread. I’m in Sarasota County, Old Miakka specifically, about a mile from the entrance to Myakka River State Park.

I think I’m screwed regarding local opportunities to get off road. If anyone has any suggestions, PLEASE tell me!

2018 JLU Sport, stock, 2.0T, 8 spd auto, LSD/Dana 44 rear, A/T 32s, and a few other extras.

Hey my Florida brothers and sisters

If any of you ever in citrus county to run the Withlacoochee State Forest, shoot me a PM, I’d love to tag along. And if you’ve never been here before I can be a guide since I practically live in there, lol. It’s pretty easy for the most part, but there is a couple of fun spots......:)
