That part mainly comes from people who buy a Jeep expecting it to behave like a fully modern vehicle. Not a solid front axle, off road biased machine. That said, as far as wranglers go, JL's have great road manners compared to previous gens. Even the JK.
This is very true.
My wife, who has driven nothing but IFS compacts & SUVs, hates how much the JL wanders on the highway. Myself, who's previous Jeep was a YJ, is absolutely amazed at how rock solid and straight tracking the JL is on the highway. 🤷‍♂️

It's all about perspective, experience and expectations.

One other thing is that tire pressure makes a huge difference. Overfilled tires wander a lot. The tire PSI on the driver's door frame should be considered a maximum. Many find a PSI slightly below that to be preferable.

Really a great looking Jeep! Someone took very good care of her and hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine! Congrats!

If what a person wants is IFS, that is what they should buy. Road testers often want everything to feel like a Camry or Camaro or a BMW. A Jeep is unique and the driving experience is unique.

I am an odd duck... when I think of jeep Wranglers I think of CJ... 2 doors. 4 doors just isn't right to me. Plus they are a dime o dozen where I live. Though TX, MS, and AL seem to have all the 2 doors. HA! Only saw two 4 doors in my 500 mile run.
Yea 2 doors are for sure the most Wrangler you can get, the 4 door is very much a compromise.

If it’s still has the oem steering stabilizer, you may want to change it out, it will make a difference. And congrats!
I think that is on my list. Gonna replace the aluminum steering gear with oem iron upgrade. Have a list of suspension and steering items that improve the Rubicon. Not many items required, which is a good thing. One thing is I need to get adjustable shocks for daily use softer feel and trail setup when playing around. Rough roads are harsh in a Rubicon.

Did not order it that way... after having 5,543 wranglers in search, I widdled them down to 6 or so, by making V6 8spd auto, 2 door, tow hitch, and hard top. I did have two black on black saved, but they sold by Memorial Day.

I'll be home tomorrow! Yay! Can't wait to remove the rear bumper and install the oem reflectors to replace the clear led backup lights.

Gonna remove a lot of small plastic parts and paint them to match body. I got low profile locking hood latches... and will paint them too, before installing.

Both Tazer JL and Banks throttle control will be wired up.

Got rain and wind deflectors to install too.

Won't have time but will work on this and that during the week and weekend.

Suuurrrre you haven't... :)
I really haven't. Although I think I may have experienced it in my Jeep a few times but nothing major.

Sugar Booger is in the house. Made it home last night, just in time to sleep and go to work Monday morning. It was worth all the trouble, but I would not do it again. Just too old to be a truck driver... even though I love to drive. Beating the Hurican in 90+ degree heat and high humidity proved cloth seats should have been ordered... but it was a special order tan with all the works. Just needs a winch. Hitting 80 getting on the hwy, is a rocket sled ride. Don't miss giving up a sporty car for my Jeep.

My JL has black leather seats, and I installed a black Carhartt universal cover for $70 from Amazon. A tan/brown option would match your interior.

... OEM LEDs get flashed left and right. Even by semi tractors with a small city mounted on their rig. Ha! ...
Congrats on the new rig. Please check the alignment of your headlights. You should not be getting flashed regularly if they are properly adjusted, even with LED lights.

Headlights are aligned... checked and noticed they are bright. Like all LED headlights I notice on new cars. Just old and douchbag drivers will flash thinking brights are on.
