For those that ordered the AAL inner fender liners, did you also get the Basic Rivet Nut Installation kit? I see it as a suggested item to add. Is it required for the install and do you need more than one for the whole project?

Thanks. I just placed an order with AAL for the liners. Will definitely look into getting a proper nutsert tool now.

100% buy a real rivnut tool, you WILL eventually damage the nuts/bolts used in the AAL "tool"

I used to do a lot of work on HMMWVs and have a hydraulic rivnut tool. I haven't even used it for myself yet. But I did do a set of fenders on a buddy's JK. Took maybe an hour for all 4 fenders.

I have both Quake fender chops and Metalcloak Gutz delete kits and would go MC again. I’ve had to replace the quakes too under partial warranty if they go out again I’m getting another set of MC. The LED are brighter and no warning light issues on dash

Yes, even with tazer trying the different steps to eliminate the fast blinker. I have the front signal inop warning, fast blink on dash but blinks normal outside

Were your OEM ones halogen or LED?

Also does this make a difference? If not are the AAL’s free of this issue or even the rugged ridge version for anyone who knows.

I was in St. George, UT today, so I stopped at American Adventure Labs and talked to them in person, and looked at their products that were installed on a JL and a JT. Their fender chop and inner fenders look to be super quality items to me. They have a new 2.0 version of their fender light that has an LED light change that is more durable, and a wiring change that eliminates the "bulb out" warning on the dash. The new version will start shipping in December. I plan on getting a set.

I also looked at their M.A.S.S. Cargo Shelf. I wanted to see it in person and confirm it was a solid shelf and that it wouldn't rattle. I was impressed and came home and ordered one from their website.

Finally got around to installing my front liners and headlights. Going to do the rear another weekend. A little challenging since working with two different manufacturers but got it done.

I have a fender chop kit, from offroad elements. Waiting for the weather to get cool before installing it.
I HATE the look of flat fenders or aftermarket fenders.

But I'm guessing I need to get a set of inner fenders. Looking for some that don't look like they belong on the batmobile.
