Forced Induction is definitely a replacement for displacement. This isn’t 1979

@AnUnseenGod You have full access to the terminals and partial access to the battery. The harder thing is the fuse box, it's not going to open with it in place.

When I need to get in those spots, what I do is undo the front 10mm into the hood and then 4 torx up by the snorkel part, which is like 2 mins or less with a power driver and super simple.


Then the whole thing is somewhat flexible and you can lift or move it probably 6-8 or so inches. I'd rather un bolt those few very accessible pieces and move it around vs cutting the hood. I feel like it is a cleaner look too vs the big mopar one.

1979 1979 good lord you must be young. BB’s were history except for trucks. The 79 350 Corvette got a 5HP bump to a whopping 225, and that’s up from the low point 165HP in 75 with a “performance “ 205HP option. 560HP 427 available 67-69 (rated 430). The last 454 BB had 275 HP (73/4) jeeeez- thank god it isn’t 1979. But it isn’t 1971 anymore is acceptable.

If snorkels were completely invisible, I'd wager there'd be a net increase in the customer base.

I have the AEV snorkel with the prefilter. Not so much to go through deep water but to keep dust out of the air filter. If you travel in a group over dusty terrain the back guys eat dust and it helps a lot. And yes, you do have to cut the hood but that didn't bother me.

I raced and embarrassed Muscle Cars like GTO’s and Road Runners (low tier BB’s) with my 63 Willys Jeep. My best was a BB Mustang-tunnel ram, traction bars, the whole schbang by a nose. Cost me a Muncie main shaft, dropping it on my hand and breaking it upon removal, both down for months. But I was

That wasn't my favorite year for the mustang and I could never get past the body style from 1994 - 2004. 2005 - 2010 they done good.
