@AnUnseenGodThat looks great. I have an ugly front bumper on my Jeep and get teased for it. Sometimes I cry softly into my pillow at night because not everyone likes my choices.
There is a couple things that I have done. I use the marine grade grease as a film on my connections for the snorkel. That helps seal the snorkel better. I have not extended the breather tubes they have a check valve to help keep the water out. I do check for water contamination often and have never had an issue.Hey Ted
You're one of the ones that walks the walk. I always enjoy seeing your adventures.
I do have a genuine question: I always get nervous with water crossings that are on the deeper end, but not close to coming up into my air box. Do you do any other prep as far as breather/vent tubes (extensions), and sealing other areas off from water?
I have a set of aftermarket aux switches and I’ve been looking at one of the cheap Amazon snorkels for dust. How much space is there between the battery and the snorkel tube?To my knowledge there isn't a factory snorkel but don't hold me to that. Things have a tendency to change faster than I can keep up with.
There are snorkel kits that require cutting the hood. Now this is just me; there is no way I was going to cut my hood. I wanted to play around with a snorkel so installed a snorkel kit I bought from Amazon for $109, mainly for cooler air. It did help lower temps a little but not much. I can go back to stock no problem, this was important to me. There are other kits very similar to this style, Rugged Ridge for example.
Best of luck my friend.

There's just enough room for it. It would have to be removed to access the fuse box which isn't a big deal. If your battery is basically the same set up as mine, it should be fine.I have a set of aftermarket aux switches and I’ve been looking at one of the cheap Amazon snorkels for dust. Im wondering if I’ll have enough space if I buy one of these.
It’s a dealer installed option. So my lease is going to be up next summer and I’m trying to do some early research on my next Wrangler. With the airbags and lockers now on the Willys it makes more sense to upgrade than to keep my current one.
I’m looking at what will pan out to be a 2026 Willys Extreme Recon. Assuming everything stays relatively the same from this year, I plan on getting the Sky One Touch and adding the Mopar Snorkel. I can’t find much information at all about the factory snorkel, but I’ve seen some posts where people say the cold air intake just gets supplied to you and you actually have to cut the hood and install it yourself. Is that true? And does anyone know if the same goes for the snorkel? Anyone order one from the factory and can provide pictures or insight? I’d greatly appreciate any information anyone could provide!
ThisI have the AEV snorkel with the prefilter. Not so much to go through deep water but to keep dust out of the air filter. If you travel in a group over dusty terrain the back guys eat dust and it helps a lot. And yes, you do have to cut the hood but that didn't bother me.
