@AC77 A couple of years ago I bought two of the HMMWV jacks in unused condition off eBay for a decent price. I also bought an Agile Off-road Adapter but a similar bracket could be fabricated for much cheaper. It seems like the jacks have become scarce and expensive. Also the jack does take up a fair amount of real estate inside the Jeep and does not even come close to fitting the factory jack cubby, so something would need to be fabricated to prevent injury in an accident or rollover.
Mine has a nice storage bag, it tightens everything up nicely... + you can get all kinds of duffelbags to fit...

@SargeDiesel
Great info, Thanks. I have a couple of the original canvas bags which are very handy. i keep the HMMWV jack I have in the garage in a Ridgid 903209071 tool bag I got off eBay
Jeep Wrangler JL factory scissor jack IMG_1904

I keep the other one mounted in the Jeep at the back wall of a Tuffy security box. I used 2 heavy Simpson strong-tie L brackets on the wall and a 600 pound ratchet strap with two tie downs mounted to the floor

Wouldn't you have to unload everything to get to that if you have a flat while doing something like camping?

For me the jack needs to be just about as readily accessible as my winch controller / recovery gear.

I'm on 37s. I couldn't make the math work for a bottle jack. It has to fit under the axle WITH A FLAT. It has to raise it to fit an inflated tire. That means the bottle jack has to have at least the sidewall travel. So, about 10" for a 37x17 tire would be enough. 10" of travel and be low enough to get under the axle with a flat. That's the requirement.

I think I'm becoming the jack man. I have a lot of them in all flavors.

But, for my uses, I think the Pro Eagle baby 1 1/2 ton floor jack is probably the best use of the 35 lbs it weighs.

I carry a little jack to pump it up high enough to use the big jack I have...lol... I really hope that I never have to try it

Shouldn't take any longer to get to than the spare ?

Maybe your speaking Wrangler talk... but I have the same basic setup and all I have to do is raise the rear seat and grab it...

What unloading or obstacles are you referring to ?

Yes. I’m more concerned about having it secure in a roll over than having to move some things to get to it. I agree the winch controller and recovery gear are a priority.

i have the cargo dog storage system for most of my stuff. I would have to move a few crates to get to the jack but youre right it would not be super easy to get to. Hopefully I will not need it that often.

I have had a set of drawers from Ainley Kennels for at least 15 years. They've been in 3 trucks. I had them built to my dimensions. I would never mess with wood drawers after having these aluminum drawers.

My bad. It looked like it would be buried under everything.

I use two 4 ton bottle jacks with various Safe Jack parts, a high lift base, and a couple 4 inch furniture pads.

The 4 tons fit in the jack compartment and this equipment provides a wide variety of heights and configurations - including a great way to level and stabilize the Jeep at camp.

Nah... all good... I was genuinely curious... I thought maybe something in the Wrangler was an obstacle or in the way. There's no doubt about it, the HMMWV Jack does take up more room, so it could be issues for some.
