So just brought this thing home. A 23 rubicon xr.

I'm curious what exactly the lift points should be when using a scissor lift. Since the jack points can't be used in this application

Maybe you can point those out and what you are talking about is not what I'm thinking? Because typically a lift like this uses the frame rail. And it definitely can't get back to the axles

Please disregard. Was thinking you were asking about the cheap scissor lift jack that comes with the Jeep to change a flat. Those are also called scissor lifts.

I'd think you'd have to put put blocks on it between the lift and the frame. Just large enough so you're only lifting by the frame and not crossbars, skid plates, etc.

I think that is what it will take. Unfortunately looks like I need taller blocks in order to not catch on anything else.

Have you asked the manufacturer? I would think they have some customers with Jeeps; if not maybe you can ask them for a sponsorship and you can review and post for a discount / free returns if it does not work...really cool lift I have not seen that one.

And 1100 lbs...you might need a friend to help! :like:

Sure didn't. The manufacturer is in Germany. Figured others here have put theirs on one.

Surprisingly it rolls nicely on concrete. so in garage delivery was nice. definitely heavy as hell. All nice and installed now.

I am sure I misunderstood but I think the site says made in NC?

What's it look like as you try to line up the jeep? Guessing the pads / ramps contact frame and cross members? Other than putting on skid plates is that bad? I think you could still do all suspension, brake, tire, oil changes, exhaust mods, etc?

I am trying to visualize it and not doing very good...I think your imagination goes away with age and too much reality!

Some are produced in NC, their american headquarters. the sprinter 7 is produced in germany.

Generally lift blocks should contact the frame, I like to be sure before lifting a new vehicle. lifting from a skid plate would be bad.

This type of lift is good for most work.
