wouldnt you worry that the dealer can use it as an excuse to void your warranty?

I will answer for this guy and tell ya...................NO, they are NOT gonna void your warrantly for a device that alters the stort/stop feature which they know as well is a major pain in the ass for most all users.

You need to understand how vehicle warranties work.

"a manufacturer can only deny warranty coverage if it can demonstrate that a non-original equipment part or related service caused a defect to occur in the original product."

On my 2020 GMC Sierra, they also had this miserable feature that would shut the engine down at stop lights. Yes, you could hit a switch on the dash and turn it off but that along with the their (shut down) some cylinders was more than i could stand.

So I found an aftermarket deal that eliminated the start/stop deal all together plus I was now running on 8 cylinders at all times instead of 5 or 6, etc.

Is there an aftermarket deal to override the Jeep start/stop feature???

Auto Start/Stop Eliminator. Install it and forget about it.

I love this idea and its my understanding as well. However I was directly informed by my own dealership that if I installed a lift kit on my jeep the entire warranty would be voided.

Given the hell it would create trying to get a warranty when they said no by trying to contact the manufacturer is just another layer of hell that dante didnt write about and one I would rather not venture into.

Seems to me that the any manufacturer would be ok with any excuse to void the warranty since general repairs generate more money on both sides.

also I live in canada where we own nothing and are happy unlike you lucky lemon-protected yanks
