Just looking at the volts on the instrument cluster. I swear it used to be like 14.0 most of the time when it was new.
It depends on the state of charge. My Jeep had 105,000klm and still has the original battery. Some days I see 13.?? Others I’ve seen up to 14.7. I personally have not paid that much attention to it to confirm any pattern as to when or why it may be higher at any given time.
At this point I will assume that the higher voltage would be when the battery(s) are at a lower state of charge while the volts in the 13s would be to maintain a full charge. If the system is happy and easily maintains charge it may not need to produce 14+ volts.

I agree

Mine is around 13.5 when I first start it in the morning. After driving a mile or so I am at 14.4 or so.
Normal driving in the 14's .

Mine reads higher during cold weather and stays higher for longer in extremely cold weather. During spring/summer/fall, it usually reads ~13.5 to 14V while driving, and usually only stays ~14V for the beginning of my first drive of the day. The closer the temps get toward freezing, the longer it will stay near 14V and in sub-freezing temps, it will often stick near 14.5V for my entire first drive.

Always assumed that was because both batteries likely deplete much faster overnight in cold weather and the generator, 48V and 12V charging system needs more time and voltage to fully recharge everything. I'm guessing use of the lights, stereo, HVAC/defrosters and other accessories probably play a role in that as well.

hate the e-torque due to this issue , from day one had charging issues and tried everything , finally said screw it and sold it was a 2021 model, in 2024 they came back with normal engines bought a 2024 3.6 rubi

I’ve been tempted to do the same. The mechanics hate working on e torque too.

I see people speculate that e-torque system will be problematic, but even anecdotally I don't see many issues here (note I didn't say zero). I seem to see a lot more problems of people left stranded by the Aux battery failing on the non e-torque models.

The instantaneous startup and no need to turn the system off, no battery delete needed and almost no major complaints from owners on this forum are all a plus in my book.
I'm still on my original 2021 12v battery and knock on wood, trouble free Jeep.
The comments about a slow 3.6 are also not something I've had issues with, maybe the extra torque at startup is also a plus.

true but it’s easy to delete that aux battery. Not so easy to delete the e torque.

I don’t want to hex myself here, but I’m driving a ‘21 JLUR 3.6 with e-torque. 62,000 mi so far, and all good. Love the seamless auto stop/start, and the extra boost at take off from a stop. My driving is mostly highway/freeway and canyons. My fingers are crossed that I get another 60+K from it, it is so much fun to drive!
Cheers,
Jed👍🏼🇺🇸🍻
