In three years these DV8 rock sliders are trash. Yes, I live in the northeast and road salt is a problem. So, I keep up with washing off the road salt as often as I can, I want the jeep to last. I even use SaltsGone to neutralize the brine. So, nothing else on the jeep has a speck of rust. Not the steel Rough Country spare relocation plate. Not the steel Warn front recovery points. Not the steel winch plate. Not the 5 steel Gladiator "spare" 17" wheels. Not the jeep itself. But these DV8 rock sliders -- which were not cheap -- are rusty AF. After three winters. So today I took them off before the corrosion spreads at the attachment points. Anyone else have issues with these?

Sorry, but DV8 has never been known for producing high quality parts. Hell, I rented a rig with DV8 bumpers to do a Jeep Jamboree a few years ago and there was another manufacturer looking them over, making it clear that DV8 had blatantly "created" an exact clone of their bumper.

I had DV8 tub attached type carrier and it rusted after my first Ohio winter. Most steel aftermarket parts rust after a few years unless constantly touched up. But the DV8 was dead after a year. I probably could have had it sandblasted and powder coated. But honestly it was a PITA.

Never again with anything DV8. Bought their front fender liners for my diesel Rubicon. Had to modify the shit out of them to get them to fit. All of the mounting points to the frame relied on crappy plastic plugs, which they didn't even provide.

Damn. I bought mine in 2023 and they still look great. I wanted step sliders instead of rock sliders, but Quadratec let me have these for $100 at a Jeep event. Couldn't pass up that deal.

That’s typical and standard operating procedure for that brand, unfortunately…..There stuff isn’t cheap either, adding insult to injury…….😠
Yep they moved manufacturing to China and now look what happens.

They still charge the premium price but you're not getting American made anymore and it shows.

Same deal with poison spyder as I recall.

Yeah, the wife is a huge Poison Spyder fangirl, lol… I have a few P.S. things on the rig to maintain the “happy wife, happy life, lol… rocker guards, winch fairlead, front door grab handles, and fire extinguisher holder…so far, (6 years) everything is holding up…..I don’t think I would chance sliders or bumpers now though……
