Installed some Rusty's Rock Sliders last Friday on my JLUR.
Was super aware of the body mount bolts being easy to snap so I went and bought a laser temperature gun and planned to just heat each bolt up before I tried to take them out.
Set my torque wrench to 80 ft lbs, heated each bolt up to around 500 deg in order to break down the loctite and started easing them out. Out a half turn back in a half turn, out a full turn back in a half and then went from there similar to the CookieMonster method. Anytime the torque wrench clicked I changed directions. Overkill, yea probably ....but all 6 came out super easy with just the first couple turns giving the most resistance.
As far as the rock slider install a right angle drill would help immensely with drilling the holes for each slider mount that attaches at the body mounts but is doable with a regular drill, just a lot harder. These things are super solid. I had ordered a set of LOD Destroyers but after a week they had not even shipped so I canceled and ordered these from Rustys. 4 days later they were on my front porch. Glad I ordered these instead.
