Awesome pics, keep posting! Love the air lockers, I had several axle vendors tell me air-lockers are stronger than e-lockers. I'm guessing if there's a problem with the lockers, air are easier to fix & diagnosis than e-lockers.

How much help have you got installing your new axles?

I'm having a shop in UT do my build, but I'll order all the parts well ahead of time and store them at my nephews place. We plan on loading all the parts in his gladiator to ferry them to the shop (likely SLC to MOAB). Would we need a fork lift for the axles? Maybe I can time the axles to have them delivered to the build shop.

I’m gonna be doing the install all by myself. Not really gonna get any help from anyone. Maybe ask someone to give me a hand with a couple of small things but that’s about it.

As far as the weight is they are HEAVY! Like I can’t lift one end of the axle at all heavy. Be sure to ship the axles to where ever you plan on having them installed to make it easier.

Off, thanks for the weight warning. I was planning on doing this in my garage. I'll have the tires and wheels on standby to try and roll it into place, lol.

These look awesome and have some serious beef! Im a bit meh on the dynatracs right now. I ordered mine through Rebel August of '21 and haven't even started on them - "still waiting on parts". I went with 74.5" wide XD60 front and 80 rear with 40/40 spline front upgrade.

For what I know Dynatrac just delivers the 40 spline on the rear, in the front you just get 35-spline. Dstrac was smart with the 40-spline free wheel hubs.

You have to order custom Front to get the 40/40 front combo which I did. You can get custom setups from dynatrac beyond their normal website stuff. Still not sure it explains the 43-45 weeks I’ve waited haha.

always waiting on something. First it was something, next was 80 center sections, now it’s the front 40/40’s. Will be interested to see what’s next. Supposedly they should be done this month.

Literally everyone is having trouble sourcing parts.
Facts! I’m still waiting on rock Krawler to make some rear lower control arm brackets for me! That’s the only thing I’m waiting on right now! Hopefully they’ll be done next week!

Update!!! Okay so I’ve started the axle swap yesterday! So far so good! I was able to drop and install the front axle and now I’m working on the rear. I’m STILL waiting on rock Krawler to send me the 3 link truss for the rear axle but I’m going to try and set everything up as much as I can for now. Here’s a few pics of how the install is going so far.

Happy 4th of July everyone! So just wanted to hop on here and let everyone know that the front is complete and just about ready to go! Just need to do a brake flush but that will be last. The last thing I need to do is weld in the rear truss. RPM steering hooked me up with one of their brand new 3 link truss they made for the Ultra 70 axle. That should be here tomorrow and I’ll be ready to finish up! Hopefully I’ll be doing a shake down run this coming weekend.
