Hey how’s it going everyone. So I was a big supporter of dstrac when I first got the axles. Well they suddenly became very unhelpful with getting the axles fixed. I’ve had a few people message me trying to get them fixed so I’m on here to help anyone find part or ways of fixing them when they start to break down.

The rear pinion seal has been leaking since day one. I replaced the seal 3 times and it keeps leaking. I found that the breather tube fitting was WAY too small so it was creating a lot of excessive pressure and making the seal fail. I replaced it with a 5/16” hose barb to 1/8 NPT male fitting. The rear pinion seal is from a Dana 70 axle. I was able to get one on Amazon. I believe the rear axle is based off a ford F350 axle so we might be able to get parts fairly cheap. The rear locked has similar parts off of a ARB locker too.

if anyone has any more tips or info please add it on here to help others out.

yeah it’s not great to have to source all the parts now when/if they break. They do come with 1550 u joints and 40 spline axle shafts so I hope those don’t go out any time soon

Can you send the link for the rear axle seals? I can’t seem to find anything on bearings123 under 95x10x70

Here are the exploded views and some basic instructions for the axles. Side note the spindle nut can be swapped out for a N11 nut and lock washer. Found them over at Kartec.com
