Yeah I have a fancy torque wrench. Saw another thread on here that talked about this specifically: https://metalcloak.com/crow-s-foot-1-1-2-duroflex-jam-nut-wrench.html so I made an order for pickup since I'm going by there on Friday anyways. That should allow me much easier tightening than the open ended one I was about to order.
I've got the Metalcloak crows foot, and they are much better than a standard open end. I did have to tighten the jamb nuts on both of their track bars on the bench. There's just no room to get on them when on the Jeep.

Metalcloak should make a tool that keeps the adjustable bushing parallel to the welded one while tightening the jamb nuts. It would be a perfect companion to their crows feet.

Good, now I don't feel bad at all about ordering the JKS front bar.
Right now, both of your front coils are leaning slightly towards the passenger side. As one wheel stuffs and the other side droops, the whole axle swings towards the stuffed side. Right now, the axle being off center is causing the bottom of the driver side spring to shift further away from the top and amplifying the inward bow. The passenger spring bottom, on the other hand, is shifting back under the top and bowing less than what's considered normal.

Centering your axle and springs is just half the benefit of replacing oem parts with much stronger aftermarket versions. As tire and lift sizes increase, so does the leverage forces that work between the frame/body and the axles. Oem components are barely adequate for stock tires and height, so they are prone to flexing under the added stress. This leads to a mushy and vague feel to the steering and suspension systems. Stronger bars, arms, and linkages help prevent unwanted flex and movement, resulting in more precise suspension reaction and straighter tracking at speed.

Cheers, buddy!

Yeah I think I'll have my friend hold a prybar in there while I tighten it. No other way to keep it aligned IMO.

Install plans for the weekend foiled by MC! They won't have the wrenches back from zinc coating until next weekend :/ Guess I'll have to have it shipped. Oh well. I will live lol.

JKS has a part recommended in their instructions for their jam nut: 1-7/8" Compact Jam Nut Wrench by JKS – JKS Manufacturing (jksmfg.com) , Amazon.com: JKS JKS1695 Nut Wrench : Tools & Home Improvement

If it's in stock one of those places, might can get it quicker
Yeah I was originally going to go that route. The price of the JKS shipped was the same as pickup at MC. I called MC to make sure it would be in stock when I came by this Friday, prior to ordering. Now that's not the case. So now I have to pay shipping charges. Too late now. I'm in no rush to get this thing on though, so it's ok. I just hate doing my due diligence by calling pre purchase, just to get a call a day later telling me that it will be over another week. I don't live near MC, just driving by there with a friend on Friday. So that kinda sucks but it's whatever.

Foiled/unfoiled yet again! The JKS bar comes in (looks great) and I immediately notice the jamb nut is MASSIVE. No freakin was is it 1.5" like JKS told me on the phone pre order. Measure it up and sure enough it's 1 7/8". Foiled again! Luckily MC has the 1 7/8" crows foot actually in stock ready for pickup though, so at least I don't have to wait another 1 week+ to get the 1.5" from zinc coating. I can't for the life of me understand why JKS has such bad info out there for what seems to be such nicely made parts

This makes me feel lazy for just cranking the hell out of them with a big adjustable wrench. I’ve got an unopened set of Jumbo standard crows just sitting on a shelf I ordered for it, too.

I was THIS close to buying a normal one. Thankfully I saw the MC offering prior to that. Most of my friends have Synergy or Teraflex because they hate jamb nuts. "They always come loose." I can promise you they didn't get that thing over 190ftlbs.
