Doorless Mirrors?

You mentioned using "Heat Shrink" to cover the stainless steel shaft. Can I just get Heat Shrink at Home Depot? Is there a certain size I need? I apologize, I feel this is something I should know, but I haven't used heat shrink before. Thanks in advance for any tips.

You can find heat shrink at HD, Lowe's, & Harbor Freight (my choice). They all have assorted-size packages & you're sure to find the size you need.

Installed my DoubleTake mirrors... finally. Been itching to go doorless this season. It just won’t stop raining so I can’t test it out yet

I love the simplicity of this setup.

Looks good but is the 3" arm long enough for the passenger side? I wasn't sure if the dash completely blocked the mirror. Partially blocked would be okay versus having an odd looking long arm.

I purchased these on Amazon and am thrilled with them. Very stiff so even on the highway the mirror is steady with no distortion from vibration. The only downside is the post is a little small, but you can still tighten them down. I had them on for about 10 days and there was no issue with them loosening up. Overall I could not be happier especially given the cost and effectiveness of the product.

I've been struggling to find something like this until I found your post. Just ordered them from Amazon... thanks so much! I'm wasn't interested in spending $75+ for mirrors I'll only need about 7 days a year. Mainly just wanted to be legal.

Replaced my door hinge mirrors that shook like crazy with the Lange Coyotes and am very impressed. Super quick to install, no movement whatsoever, and the view is insane. Thanks to the forum for the suggestion!

I had a cheap pair of mirrors from Amazon since last April. Last month I picked up the Lange Coyote mirrors as well. I am very happy with them. Small and convex, but very solid fitting and no vibrations. And very convenient compared to the ones that mount on the hinges.

Yes, that's a generic code. They offer 10% but if you don't order then you'll get an email the next day or two with that code for 15%. Then a reminder the day after about 15%. Still over $200. I'll probably buy the Lange or Doubletake mirrors soon for half the cost. I like the CMM design best but I'd rather overspend on something used every day on the Wrangler.

I installed these JK relocation mirrors so I don't have to worry about taking anything on and off. For those of you without a garage this saves you a massive amount of time when going Doorless.

It's completely reversible, and a good option for me since I do not have wired mirrors.

Yes, I spent way to much time reading opinions and finally ordered the CMM mirrors. Overpriced but you can mount in two locations, they are cleaner and the mounting location allows for full use. I thought about the Doubletakes with RAM grab mounts ($50-$60 a pair) to the grab handles but the price started approaching the CMM cost with a 15% discount. Hopefully they'll arrive before the end of September.

Worked like a charm! I love the new setup. Hardly any vibration at all! I love this solution. I think the Adventure mirrors are a cool shape too.

Finally. Weather that cooperated today in Iowa. 75 and sun. Got Wruby half-naked. Wife doesn’t like it when I take the back doors off with the kids riding. So I sneak it in sometimes... lol

Looks like they have the longer 6" bars now. Wonder if I should still get the shorter bar for drivers side?
You still happy with this setup at highway speed?

I was dead set on CMM, but I think this actually looks better and is half the cost.

Y'all are wasting your time and money with these quadtratec mirror's... Get the "Harley" mirrors from Amazon... They work killer, look killer, and aren't 99 effing dollars. And if you hate them, you can return them because Amazon is cool like that.
