Howdy folks!

First time posting, so here goes.
I`ve got a 2018 bare minimum, 6 manual 4 door w/a Best top fold back top. Ain`t no button pushing for rolling winders down..Lol.
So I found here looking up a couple things, dash lights going "haywire" & my clutch recall. Read, read & read some more. I ordered a new Star "green" bus thing & had it before my Jeep went to Shop. So my local Jeep/Dodge dealership, which I didn`t even buy the thing from, didn`t baulk a bit in fixing my problem!
Got my Jeep back 3:30ish, manager allowed the mechanic to ride w/me when I got my clutch test drive(I`ve got this knocking sound from the back, `nother post), round trip was about 4 miles. Just before we pulled back in the dealership..Service Transmission pop`s up. I laugh, not so much fer him
..lol.

I`ll fast forward, new clutch isn`t as Stiff as before, & I told the mechanic.

Point to be made, there`s a video of a guy that found the problem. 3 posts that need to be resoldered.

Winder arm cranks `er not...I Like the Hell out of my Jeep! Just passed 38,000.

Find a friend w/Awesome solder skills, reuse your Can!

Love the site & Thanks!!

Let`s see if I can post pix of my clutch...

That is a pic of my old clutch, just turned to 38,000 miles.

Yes, I`ve had All the lights going off & loosing power steering. I bought a replacement 6832 1746AA Green can-c bus. I found a youtube video where the guy found his problem, the 3 pins that are in a row. After I took my Green can apart, it was different. My wife used to work in the solder department of a car part factory. She told me a soft brush w/some rubbing alcohol , clean it up & throw it in the glovebox. May as well keep it close to where it goes!!

No crankin`, lots of drinking! GAS
