No not at all, the last time I was out with some people I was in 4lo for 4 hrs. There were times we stopped for pics and to help people stuck but never switched to 4 hi or 2 wheel. What issues are you having?

No issues... just paranoid, and you have no issues going back to 2 wheel and highway speeds after being in 4lo that long?

Nope no issues. I don't think you have anything to worry about as long as you are not abusing it in 4lo like over speeding and insane rpms you will be fine. Every 20 or 30 minutes I cycle through my gauges to see what my Temps are. Keep your speeds low and don't abuse it and you will fine.

No issues for me either. Been in 4 low multiple times, for several hours each time. I put the transmission in manual mode while in 4 low too.

With less than 400 miles on the odo we went driving through the Cherokee National Forest to get to the Conasuaga Falls trail head. The road was just a washed out gravel/dirt road but we took a wrong turn and ended up traversing a stream. The wrong turn ended up being the high point of the trip (for me). Then a week later we went to Wartburg TN to drive through the (flooded) abandoned train tunnels. Other than about 18" of water in the tunnel, it was rather uneventful. The return back to the start on a parallel trail was more challenging because of a steep 15' rocky hill which required 4 low. I'm pleased with how well the little 2.0L has handled these, admittedly not very challenging situations.

Fins & things, hell's revenge, top of the world, poison spider, golden spike, and gold bar rim in the last 3 days. 2.5" budget spacer lift with shock extensions and 37" Yokohama geolander x-mt's on stock rims. It walked every obstacle including up the waterfall on gold bar. Your jeep is far more capable than you think and will do things you'll likely shy away from.

I agree I run a 1.5” spacer lift and 35s have done plenty of tough trails.. and never found an obstacle or trail that I couldn’t get thru that my buddies 3.5” am spring lift could do.. it’s super capable, and saved my thousands

Awesome. In Moab too. Fins & Things today PS + all connected trails tomorrow. It’s hot but love these trails.
Just got home from our ~2500 mile road trip vacation. The ledges and waterfalls on Golden spike and gold bar were bigger than expected, but we made it through.
