The wife and I took our new (to us) 2021 E-pro 19fd on a shakedown trip a few weekends ago. The UVW is supposedly 3200lbs,, but I'm sure with all of our stuff (clothes, shoes, boots, food, tools...etc...) I was probably close to 4000lbs. Well, my 2021 Rubicon 3.0 Turbo diesel handled it better...
These are the ones I bought and used last weekend: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BVKCR2VS?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details
They worked ok, there is some vibration at highway speeds, but I could still see any vehicles that were along side of me. The best part is that I was able to remove...
I still don't know if the Mopar brake controller requires a flash or not, but there was an option to enable it in my Tazer. So I enabled the feature and the brake controller works perfectly. I did not try the brake controller before I enabled it through the tazer, so I have no idea if it is...
I'm about to pick up a new (to me) 2021 E-Pro 19FD which is supposed to have a 3200# UVW, which means it'll probably be about 4000# when loaded. I have the 3.0 diesel so power definitely shouldn't be an issue. Of course it has electric brakes, so hopefully braking won't be an issue. I'll just...
I'm about to install the Mopar trailer brake control in order to tow my new (to me) E-Pro 19FD travel trailer. I watched a few installs on YT but they don't mention the need for a software flash. But, I do have a Tazer JL installed and just noticed one of the options that it mentions is "...
@Blu_Rubicon87 @Xorak Ok, now I see the check box. I didn't check the box because I didn't know what "in motion" meant.... Then I was wondering why the light show didn't work in motion....DUH!
I installed my tazer mini a few days ago and being a gadget geek I had to mess with just about every setting. I was particularly interested in the lightshow function because I am part of a security force in my rather isolated neighborhood and wanted to have some type of emergency services lights...
That could be, I haven't ridden that trail yet, I was just amazed that there is a badge of honor trail in FL. I have ridden through the Citrus Wildlife Management area though. There are wide dirt roads with some sugar sand, and probably muddy when it rains.
If you're interested in geocaching...
Trailsoffroad.com lists a bunch of trails in central FL. The Jeep Badge of Honor app actually lists a badge of honor trail in the Ocala National Forest.
Of course the major obstacles on these trails is sand, deep sand and then really deep sand....oh and mosquitos too ;-)
#3 for GSMNP... From there go to Nemo train tunnel and camp/hike at Frozen Head SP. A must see is the Cherohala skyway which is awesome and you can add some trails off of it. Then visit the Cherokee National Forest where there are numerous trails and waterfalls. Visit Gatlinburg and try some...
Well, not only is this simple light install becoming a week long project, I ran into a bigger problem while climbing around under the Jeep... There is oil dripping from my right rear axle, near the wheel. It's definitely oil and not brake fluid. It's been leaking for a while because the oil has...
I've got the lights installed and connected to the wiring on the passenger side tail light using Oracle's harness.
I looked at the possible routing through the frame rail, and honestly I can't see how that is accomplished, especially back where the frame rail bends up above the rear axle. I'm...
