Doable jeep safely while I go on vacation

So I’m getting ready to leave for a few weeks. Jeep will be home lonely and unprotected.
Is there a safe way to disable my Jeep easily so it can be taken?
In the old days it was pull the coil wire. But I don’t think that is as easy with todays vehicles.
With secondary battery just pulling the red lead won’t really do it either or may cause other issues.

anyone got a good short term mothball idea or procedure?

Disconnect both ground cables from the negative post on the battery. Tape them off and tuck them away.

This is what I would do, find a couple fuses, yank them out. Can't start the Jeep if you can't feed it fuel. Also it's definitely a good idea to take the battery out of your key fob (and any spare keys) if you're going to leave it at home.

I was messing around with my Jeep a while ago, and if I left my key fob in the house, on the kitchen counter, I could start the Jeep without it, being that the fob was about 30 ft away from where I park. And as we all know, once the Jeep is running, you can drive it without the key fob until you run out of fuel.

Edit: Just looked it up found F02 and F04 are the Starter and Fuel Pump fuses, should be 40 amp green, and 20 amp yellow, respectively.

You should definitely give it a test run before you go.

There is no stopping a determined thief and if they know you are gone on vacation that will give them more time to strike.

Disable something and make sure you have good insurance on it

The air box may be in the way but it’s easy in/out. Just be careful to be sure everything lines up when you reassemble. It’s just a few minute job.

pick one of those listed up there as others have said
if you reallllly want to know where it is at all times and feel safe
just purchase an airtag and airtag mount
search how to remove the speaker from said airtag
thats if u dont want it to be found by a smarter person.
mount somewhere hidden inside jeep ..
now it can be tracked /show location anytime

Fantastic, never thought about removing battery from fob. That will at least stop the fob signal thrives.
mill also remove the fuel pump fusses.
I also have the hood lock that takes a really long diamond cut key. Hard to get to the key face with picking tools.

I think all those combos will work.

In California, I'd be more worried about squatters moving into my house if I am gone that long.

Considering it could be drug (winched onto a rollback) or (flatbed dove tail) with all four wheels locked, Bag of sand makes that very easy. No Garage? Rent a conex box, park it in there, climb out the roof, lock the doors on the Conex, then hang a tag on the outside that says Hazardous Waste, Osha Level A Classification Scott air pak and acid suit required for entry.
